About

Helping you find strength, healing and a way forward

I felt called to the field of mental health when I was a teenager navigating my own struggles. Even then, I knew that once I found healing, strength, and my way forward, I wanted to help others do the same. After working in human services, getting married, and raising my family, I finally pursued the dream I had held for more than 20 years. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois. I’ve worked in both outpatient hospital settings and private practice, and I have extensive experience supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, toxic relationships, and the lasting effects of childhood and relational trauma. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Above all, I am client-centered—I tailor every session to your unique needs, goals, and personality. You will always be met with empathy, warmth, and zero judgment. As a Christian, my faith is a central part of who I am, and I welcome the opportunity to integrate spiritual and biblical principles into therapy for clients who desire it. Faith-based counseling can be a powerful source of healing for those who find strength in their beliefs. At the same time, I honor each person’s individual values and worldview—spiritual integration is always client-led, and I work respectfully with individuals of any or no faith. PAYMENT AND LOCATION: I currently offer telehealth sessions only and operate on a private pay basis. My rate is $150 for the initial intake session and $135 for ongoing therapy sessions. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale slots, available upon request. At this time, I am not in-network with any insurance providers. However, I can provide a monthly superbill, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider directly to verify your specific coverage and benefits. I will be adding Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO as an insurance option in the Fall of 2025. I anticipate opening a physical office in late 2025 or early 2026, located in either Will County or Southern DuPage County. I currently offer a limited amount of spots for "Walk and Talk" therapy for established clients who wish to meet in person, weather permitting.
